Notes |
- Given the location, we believe this may be the Elizabeth Worcester who was convicted of man robbing in 1835 at Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.
She was a widow and had a mark on her arm "J Worster".
She was transported to New South Wales and married George Bateman in 1840. She was given a certificate of freedom in 1843.
Possible dates for her death would be 1857 or 1889 (from the NSW BMD index). [1]
