    Molonglo Camp
    Molonglo Camp
    Molonglo was built as an Internment camp in 1918, later becoming a "workers settlement" housing and facilities for the construction of the Australian Capital Territory.
    Molonglo is now modern day Fyshwick.
    An important member of the Mess was the caterer employed by the men. Some are known through archival documents and others through oral information.
    Bill Convine and his wife, assisted by other family members were one of the first Mess Caterers in the early 1920s.
