Sydney and Ivy Kathleen Wooster Killed in Motorcycle Accident
Newspaper report of the tragic deaths of Sydney Wooster and his wife Ivy Kathleen (nee Lewis) in a motorcycle accident in Poplar. They were visiting Ivy's mother who lived in Cardogan Terrace, Bow when they were hit by a car driven by Albert Alfred Bliss.
Bliss was charged with double manslaughter but was found not guilty. He pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and was disqualified for 12 months.
