Enlistment: 4 Dec 1865, Joins navy HMS Formidable as Ward Room Officers Servant, rate of pay 1s/1d per day. Recorded in ships log as of 'Good Character'

18th Jan 1867: Transferred to HMS Charybdis as Gun Room Servant. Sails around world aboard this ship

30 Aug 1871: Paid off from HMS Charybdis. Conduct on discharge recorded as 'VG'

Residence: 1871 Vessels, Royal Navy, England. Gun room servant
