 | Mary Beatrice Ridley - A Death Certificate with Multiple Errors Mary Beatrice (Ann) Ridley's death certificate with at least six errors/inaccuracies.
1. Her middle name was really Ann, but she had used Beatrice since her marriage.
2. Wrong spelling of her father's surname.
3. Her grandmother's name (Mary) has been used for her mother's name (Charlotte).
4. Wrong surname for mother. Should be Norris rather than Colling.
5. Age of marriage is wrong. Should be 20 (21 stated on marriage certificate) rather than 19.
6. Wrong husband. Henry Featherstonhaugh Wooster is quoted as her husband, when he was actually her father-in-law.
The undertaker was the informant, so that may explain some of these anomalies.

 | Melancholy Accident SOUTH BUCKS FREE PRESS
SATURDAY OCTOBER 1st 1859
PENN:
MELANCHOLY ACCIDENT
On Saturday last a most distressing accident occurred in this village to Mr JOHN WOOSTER - baker.
It appears that Mr Wooster's horse was a vicious tempered animal and was in the habit of kicking, so much so, as to require to have forefoot strapped up before it could be safely approached. On Saturday morning, Mr Wooster being somewhat pressed for time, ventured to harness the horse without adopting the usual precaution, and when put on the crupper, it kicked out in a most vicious manner and laid Mr Wooster prostrate. The injury received was so serious that he died the same evening. On Monday an inquest, before F Chansley Esq., Coroner, when those facts being given in evidence the jury returned a verdict of accidental death.
We understand the horse has been shot, and that a subscrip¬tion has been set on foot, that, the widow who is left with four children, shall not be a loser from the loss of the animal. We doubt not that the appeal will be liberally responded to.

On 10th August 1955 he played in a match against Australia for a joint team from the Poverty Bay and East Coast unions, losing 15-6 after there had been every indication of a much closer score.

 | Molonglo Camp Molonglo was built as an Internment camp in 1918, later becoming a "workers settlement" housing and facilities for the construction of the Australian Capital Territory.
Molonglo is now modern day Fyshwick.
An important member of the Mess was the caterer employed by the men. Some are known through archival documents and others through oral information.
Bill Convine and his wife, assisted by other family members were one of the first Mess Caterers in the early 1920s.

He gives his age as 19 on the ship's passenger list, his occupation as farming and his address as a vicarage in Melton, presumably Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire.
His parents were very active in the church in Leicestershire, so could this be their son?

Sydney (left) and Mr. Charles Wooster, of Nabiac (right). The former is 86 years of age and the latter 90 years. They enlisted in the Sydney contingent in 1862 and fought through the whole of the campaign. It is believed that they are the only survivors of the second Waikato regiment. Mr. Wooster was a prisoner of war under Te Coote and was taken to the head of the Wipa River, just above Peronga. In spite of his 90 years Mr. Wooster is in good health and retains all his faculties.
