Jim went to Australia 1912. Charles and Emma lived in "Red House" Stoke Mandeville near the present hospital - probably leasehold. Because Charles had lost all his money when the "horseless carriage", ie the motor car came in during the early years of the century, that is his business had lost its value, and he was living in leasehold (maybe rented) accomodation with only his furniture to his name, he and Emma went to live with Nellie Hodgman (nee Wooster) and her husband Bert and their family. It appears that none of the other Wooster children offered them a home so they went and lived in Montana Road about 1914. Lilian Giles believes that Charles and Emma are buried at Chislehurst, Kent. Death Certificate of Emma Wooster --------------------------------------------------------- Emma Wooster died 26th January 1939 aged 90 years, widow of Charles Wooster, cab proprietor, at 14 Fairway, Petts Wood, Orpington, Kent. E M Wooster her daughter was present at the death and also registered the death on 30th January 1939 at 14 Fairway, Petts Wood.
