    Son of Leversedge S. Brandon, born in England (mother unknown on DC), he was born in Woodruff, Canada, married Margaret Woodruff, was a steam fitter for Dravo Corp., lived at 1216 Railroad St, Franklin, died there of myocardial damage caused by coronary thrombosis, per death certificate 17928, whose informant was John E. Stuttler, 124 Lamberton St, Rocky Grove/Franklin. Buried Mar 2 1944.

    Per Manitoba, Canada, Birth Index, on Oct 4 1888 in Assiniboia, Manitoba, Canada, Leversedge Samuel Brandon was born to Elizabeth Doidge.
    The 1906 Canada Census shows Leversedge, 56, immigrated 1870, and Elizabeth, 57, immigrated 1857, Brandon, living in MacDonald, Manitoba, with daughter, Lilliam M., 19, and son, Leversedge S., 17

    Franklin News-Herald, Tuesday, Feb 29 1944:
    Leversedge S. Brandon Jr., 54, died at 1:30 am Tuesday after suffering 9 weeks with a heart ailment. He was born October 4, 1889, in Hadingly, Manitoba.

    He lived in Franklin the past 25 years, for several years affiliated with Wesley L. Fry in the Wesley L. Fry & Company Garage on Howard and Elk Streets, when they had the Cadillac and LaSalle agency. More recently he worked for Dravo Dredging Company, Bradford, as a steam fitter. He was a member of Oil City Local 37, Steamfitter's, and of St. John's Episcopal Church. Having served in World War I with the British Air Forces, he was a member of Franklin Post, American Legion.

    He married Margaret Woodruff and she survives, with a step-son, John E. Stuttler of Franklin; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Mullen, Winnipeg, Canada.
